Prepare for Your RHIT Exam

After you graduate with your HIM associate’s degree, you will be prepared to take the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) exam. After your HIM 210 RHIT Exam Review course, you will be ready to ace this exam and earn your certification from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). This certification, paired with your hands-on experience, can improve your potential job placement and salary!

Gain Hands-On Training in the Field

During your program, you will get two opportunities to work hands-on in an acute care facility to gain real-world training in the HIM field. Your HIM103 and HIM200 Professional Practice Experience courses give you a combined 120 hours of hands-on experience in a healthcare office setting. This valuable experience will allow you to put your online training into practice and see the daily operations of a professional health information technician.
