Joint Admissions Process

1. Determine if you are in a qualifying Joint Admissions program.

Does the college to which you will transfer have a Joint Admissions agreement with Mount Wachusett Community College for your major?

If yes, does the agreement apply to the program/school into which you plan to transfer at the four year college/university?

2. If the answer to both of the above questions is "yes," graduate from the qualifying program with a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

3. Early in your last semester at MWCC, submit an Intent to Enroll form to the Joint Admissions qualifying four year college/university. The preferred deadline for fall admission is March 1, and October 15 (except Framingham State College which is October 1) for spring admission. Note: Intent to Enroll forms can be submitted to more than one qualifying college/university.

Submission of the Intent to Enroll form to a four year Massachusetts state college or university replaces the need to submit an application.
There is no fee for filing the Intent to Enroll form.
Intent to Enroll forms are available from Transfer Services, located in the Advising & Counseling Center, Room 134, on the Transfer Services Bulletin Board (located in the hallway to the cafeteria), and from the enrollment center. Note: an Intent to Enroll form can be accessed online at: http://www.mwcc.mass.edu/PDFs/IntenttoEnroll.pdf

Note: be sure to submit a completed Petition to Graduate form, along with $20.00, to the MWCC Bursar's Office. Petition to Graduate forms are accessible at: http://www.mwcc.mass.edu/PDFs/PetitionToGrad.pdf
