Professor Nola Sapienza , M.E.D. Department of Fitness Leadership and Exercise, Chairperson Division of Health Sciences (978) 630-9262 email: n_sapienza@ mwcc.mass.edu Professor Sapienza graduated from Tarkio College, Tarkio, Missouri in 1971 with B.A. degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and 1976 graduated from the University of Arizona, Tucson with a M.E.D. concentration in Physical Education. After teaching one year in elementary and four years in high school, she began teaching at MWCC. Professor Sapienza has been teaching here for 25 years skills classes, the core required course Health, Fitness and Wellness, and the current certificate program courses Exercise Science and Nutrition, and Exercise Testing and Program Design. In 1986 she was certified with AFAA and IDEA for group exercise and is currently certified with ACE as personal trainer. Professor Jack McNally, M.S. and C.A.S Department of Fitness Leadership and Exercise Divsion of Health Sciences (978) 630-9266 Professor McNally graduated from Southeast Missouri State College in 1963 with B.S. in Health and Pyhsical Education; in 1965 graduated with M.S. in Health and Physical Education form the University of Colorado; and in 1971 graduated CAS in Health Administration from New York University. He has been teaching at MWCC for twenty five years skills classes, the core required course Health Fitness, and Wellness, Biology of Human Health, and the current certificate program course Exercise Testing and Program Design. Professor Mcnally at one time played proffesional Soccer and taught Tennis professionally. He is still very active with high school an youth soccer in this area.
