Wood Digest Courses

The Forest and Wood Products Institute and Wood Digest Magazine present:

WOOD STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES - WPT 110
WOOD MACHINING TECHNOLOGY - WPT 122
INTRODUCTION TO BLUEPRINT READING - MET 105

Mount Wachusett Community College, the Forest and Wood Products Institute, the National Science Foundation, Microvellum Corporation and Wood Digest magazine, developed a unique partnership that resulted in the development and publishing of the above mentioned three-credit college-level wood products technology and manufacturing technology on-line courses. These courses are available to wood products manufacturing employees, students or individuals who may be interested in learning more about the wood industry from the comfort of their home or business computer. All enrolled students will utilize the technologically advanced MWCC Blackboard Online Education System to complete their assignments.

Wood Digest Magazine published articles, authored by the course instructor will guide the students through each course. Students may enroll into the WPT 110, WPT 122, or MET 105 courses at any time of the year.

Please refer to the course syllabi for extensive information about any one of the courses:
