Peggy serves as the administrative assistant for the marketing department. Her duties include scheduling and negotiating rates for advertising; maintaining calendars for the marketing director; maintaining databases; assisting with planning events and publications; archiving marketing materials; and assisting the director of marketing with focus groups, research, and the coordination of photo shoots.

Janice oversees the college’s media relations, and writes and distributes press releases, editorials and public service announcements. She serves as a liaison between the college community and state, local and trade media, and is editor of the What’s Up at the Mount e-newsletter.

Sharyn Rice

Sharyn supervises staff and coordinates/supports activities related to college publications, advertising, marketing, media relations, MWCC Foundation, Inc., the Community Builders partnership with the United Way of North Central Massachusetts and Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, legislative relations, alumni affairs, and miscellaneous community issues of importance to the college. She oversees fundraising events and promotes and represents the college in the community. She is a member of RCAP Solutions Board of Directors, an active participant on committees of area chambers of commerce and provides outreach to a variety of businesses and community agencies.
