April 24, 2002 MOUNT WACHUSETT COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO OFFER FREE SEMINAR ON ENTREPRENEURIAL KNOW-HOW
(GARDNER)--A free seminar "How to Expand Your Entrepreneurial Know-How," sponsored by MWCC and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be held Thurs., May 2 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., in room 127. The seminar is designed to help participants: refine management and marketing skills, get more customers, price products/services, collect from customers, and prepare and implement a business plan. The panel will include John Ranta, principal, Orion Marketing www.orionmktg.com. And Marianne Jeneski, RN CMT, principal, A Body in Balance Therapeutic Massage www.rnmassagetherapist.com and MWCC Professor Jack Hughes. Ranta has over 25 years experience in marketing and sales with high tech firms. He has served as vice president of marketing and sales for Clam Associates, SensAble Technologies, Teneo Computing and NovintTechnologies. Clam Associates and SensAble Technologies were recognized by Inc Magazine as among the fastest growing private companies during Rantas tenure. Jeneski has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork. She has taught human anatomy, physiology, hydrotherapy, and circulatory and lymphatic massage at the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts. Jeneski is a professional member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and the National Association of Nurse Massage Therapists. Hughes, Small Business Coordinator at Mount Wachusett Community College, is also the retired president and treasurer of Mark, Inc.
