Why Earn a Certificate at MWCC?

Certificates offer college credit and short-term training so you can enter a new field, build your skills, or explore an area of interest. Many certificates allow you to transfer credit into one of MWCC’s corresponding associate degrees.

When Are Classes Offered?

You can take classes in a 7-1/2 week or full semester format at MWCC’s Leominster Campus. Courses are offered during the day: 9 a.m. – 12 noon and 12:30 – 3:30 p.m., and in the evening: 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 -10:30 p.m.

How Long Does It Take to Complete a Certificate?

A certificate can be completed in one-year of full-time study or part-time over a longer period.

Where Can I Complete These Certificates?

These certificates can be completed entirely at MWCC’s Leominster Campus. They can also be completed at the Gardner campus. Some courses can also be taken online.

How Do I Enroll?

You will need to apply to the college. Drop by, email leominster@mwcc.mass.edu, or call the Leominster Campus, (978) 840-3221 or the Gardner Campus (978) 630-9110. You will need to complete an application form, pay the $10 application fee, send in your official high school transcript, and send in your official college transcript (if seeking transfer credit).
