CET101 COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY I: OPERATING SYSTEMS
3 credits
This course provides an in-depth study of the Windows 9X operating system,
and the underlying DOS functions and structure. This knowledge is applied
to the installation and configuration of Windows 9X, as well as the diagnosis
and troubleshooting of common problems. Students will gain extensive lab
experience in this area. Three hours lecture and three hours lab per week.
Prerequisites: RDG100 or placement, CIS127.
CET102 COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY II: HARDWARE SYSTEMS
3 credits
This course provides an in-depth study of the hardware components of a PC.
Topics include component operation, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
of a PC system, in both a class and lab environment. Three hours lecture
and three hours lab per week. Prerequisite: CET101
