Our Commitment

The Advanced Manufacturing Mechatronics and Quality Consortium (AMMQC) is made up of four leading community colleges across the U.S. and will transfer educational delivery methods and accelerate credential attainment in manufacturing.
This initiative will enhance regional economic development by providing employers with workers that have proven training, skills, and knowledge for a sector that is integral to dynamic regional growth.

  • Funded by U.S. Department of Labor TAACCCT (Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training)
  • $15.9 million total award — $6.5 million to MWCC
  • Over $1.7 million in training equipment — $400,000 awarded to MWCC
  • Grant Period from October 1, 2013 to September 20, 2017
  • More than 1,700 TAA-eligible workers, veterans, and other individuals to be served
