CSPI 332 French Bustle
Learn how to fit, create and construct three to five point French under-bustles for different types of bridal dresses.
CSPI 333 Ball Gown Bustle
Learn how to fit, create and construct a ball gown bustle and make a dress look train-less without cutting the train off!
CSPI 334 Pick-Up Bustle
Learn how to create a fairytale dress like Bell from the Beauty and the Beast. It’s a technique you could also use for bridesmaid dresses without spending a bundle for dresses that come with pick-up.
CSPI 335 Mantilla Veil
Learn how to make a mantilla veil for little money and sell for a profit; mantilla veils sell for $200 in stores.
CSPI 336 Tiered Veil
Learn how to make a blusher and one to two tiered veils. You will also learn how to enhance the bottom on your veil with lace or beads.
CSPI 337 Special Occasion Fitting
Learn how to do fittings for bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and flower girl dresses. You will also learn how to take measurements for accurately fitting a garment and shoe size.
CSPI 338 Bridal Gown Fitting
Prerequisite: Must have taken traditional and French bustle.
Learn how to fit, measure and schedule your clients for their bridal dress.
CSPI 326 Wedding Planner Certification
Covers everything a wedding planner needs to know: contracts, etiquette, flowers, music, day of service, marketing, how to work with vendors, and how to work with prospective brides and grooms. This certification course can be taken at anytime online. Students have up to six months to complete. Student will receive a student ID and password and have access to our instructors for questions and assistance through web-conference sessions and email. Students can also connect with other students locally and internationally through message boards. Course cost includes CDs, testing, and national certification from the Wedding Planning Institute.
