CSPD 391 Interpersonal Communication and Conflict Management
Improve your interpersonal skills; understand and positively manage emotions in both face-to-face and virtual environments; learn to empathize; develop sensitivity to the needs of individuals or groups you may interact with; and learn how to use effective communication to enhance the strengths and abilities of others. Also, learn to manage conflict by listening to others carefully, and coming to mutually-acceptable resolutions.

This workshop helps you identify some ways you may be contributing to these problems and gives concrete strategies to dealing with difficult workplace relationships.
CSPD 370 Getting Paid to Talk: Voice-overs as a Profession
Professional voice work can be exciting, fun, and lucrative. This introductory class explores aspects of voice-over work for television, film, radio, and narration, and emerging opportunities for voice in multimedia. Learn the basics, including how to prepare the all-important demo tape as well as how to bypass the competition and get the job. Listen to professional voice-over recordings and prepare and read a piece of commercial copy for critique.
